Saints are making a bid for Belgian Striker Jelle Vossen. He is young, full of talent and been in great form in the last few seasons at Genk. I hope this comes off he would fit in perfect at St Marys.

Don't fancy Baird at all. Lukaku could be a good signing.

Have to disagree over Baird think it would be a good deal as we are short at full backs on cover. Cline has been good but is under no pressure and if injured Richardson is the cover and afraid he is not a premiership player. Having Baird who can also cover in centre if needed would provide cover plus if Shaw is injured then could play Cline at LB as did a decent job there when asked and bring in Baird at RB. Baird also hits a decent cross. Not a starting 11 choice but for me would improve the overall depth of the squad.

Really want us to sign a striker the one area that we are desperately short as I do not rate Mayuka from the times have seen him play, pretty awful when he came on away at spurs in a game we were dominating. Ba would be an interesting signing but he would come and would hold out for a club playing European football plus he must be on a massive whack at Chelsea in wages.

Said before would love to get Lukaku but afraid that wont happen.

So many people think they are in the know or have a friend who convince them they know something.

Still apart from those who start the ridiculous ones on purpose no harm in people sharing their views, still suspect "james" will be a bit sheepish from now on, still would like Sinclair if we could get him on loan, not fussed about Lescott as think he has a higher opinion of his ability than he really is.

Southampton will open talks with Martin Demichelis, according to reports from Spain. The Argentine centre back has been released from his contract with Malaga, and fellow countryman and Saints' manager Mauricio Pochettino is now set to make an offer to the player.

Well as no longer with Malaga the "reports" will come from agents looking to drum up business. Not sure we would want another CB or where our focus will be.

From a Liverpool fan. I heard you lot may be in for Eriksen now that he seems to be stuck for options. He would be a quality signing for you lot. I'm not 100% but I have a suspicion that this is true.
