STRIKER RUMOURS

Perhaps this is me just being silly, but after experiences with players coming from other leagues, Lovren excepted, I would feel more confident if we signed players we can be sure will be suited to the Premiership. We don't want to have to wait maybe for months for players to adapt.

Re: STRIKER RUMOURS
quite a few rumours abont Ings as well as although Burnley will go up he only has a year left on his contract so may look for either a long term deal Burnley may be nervous about that and want to include pay cut clause if they go down. that can make a player nervous about signing and at 31 don't think this guy is what we would be after unless just a couple of million. we will need 2 strikers anyhow so would expect a cheapish signing with someone out of contract

Re: STRIKER RUMOURS
er no thanks. Another classic example of what happens when a player leaves to early to the one of the big clubs, career goes backward and struggles to ever get going again, suggest a few of our players supposedly looking at moving take note

Re: STRIKER RUMOURS
how good Pelle will be in the Premiership, think scoring in Holland is not that difficult, would rather have had Hernandez as part of the Shaw deal

Re: STRIKER RUMOURS
Looks like Pelle is a done deal, also seems a fair few thinking Ings will be next which at least will give us some strikers to start the season. Need to then get the left back in place as with Targett only 1 LB with no premiership experience

Clyne could switch to LB with Chambers at RB? Unless Chambers leaves of course......
Re: STRIKER RUMOURS
Could play Cline there though think he is more effective at RB, I think Chambers can probably play either CH or centre midfield, hopefully he will stay as will put his career back if he goes to a big club and warms the bench.

Re: STRIKER RUMOURS
would be an interesting signing if it happens as Koeman has worked with him before. difficulty will be we will start the season with a forward line that has virtually no premier league experience,
