Still seems to be a view it might not be dead, don't think either Inter or Athletico willing to pay any where near what he wants. If he goes to Inter hope on loan then Osvaldo can thump him and we could be his saviour!

Hernandez has asked to leave United this summer and, despite interest from Borussia Dortmund and Southampton, Juventus are the closest to signing him. Talks have gone well and while a fee hasn't been agreed, all parties are hopeful of a deal. (8/10)

The Gunners want Gnabry to go on loan but he is choosy about the club. He's rejected Crystal Palace, and now Southampton have made an offer. The Gunners are happy and everything is agreed, it's just up to him to decide if he fancies the move to the south-coast. (6/10)

Seems #saintsfc interest in Shane Long is genuine. Just what they need IMO
The one thing #saintsfc are lacking is pace which Shane Long has + knows where the goal is. Also proven at #epl level.
So maybe #hcafc are not so reluctant to sell when £12m is offered #saintsfc need a striker and have the cash so dont get hung up on the fee

Well I am hung up over the fee when we could probably get Redmond, younger and in my view as good for probably 6 - 7m, if confirmed that will be 2 players (Forster and Long) where we have paid over the odds.

£12m is ridiculous money really and bet Bruce is rubbing his hands at spending there and wouldn't be surprised if he goes for Redmond or Wickham.
