I am not optimistic we will bring in players that will persuade Lovren to stay, think Koeman will lose his cool dealing with Reed who is out of his depth in the transfer market, see the Pelle deal has hit a snag, should have been tied up quickly before we told the world we had sold Shaw and Lallana

The club must know Celtic will not accept a cut-price offer, I am getting worried too much of this haggling is going to cost us a good season....we need to be making sensible offers.

We will begin with stupid bid , £7.5 is close to value, probably have to pay £9m but have no doubt gone in with stupid price which drags out the process and opens the market for other clubs to get in, we could have signed him in 2012 but spent half of what Celtic paid on Forster for Gazzinga, great business Les!

If the rumours from Celtic are true we offered £3.5m, what a joke! If that is true then reed should be sacked. We all like a bargain but that is a pointless bid, notifies to everyone in the market but is an insult so could make Celtic even more difficult to deal with.

It again shows to me Reed is out of his depth, putting in a bid with no hope of being accepted is stupid, plus the saints players must start wondering what we are up to as they know player values and would suggest trying to do everything on the cheap, wake up Reed we got £60m form Sky plus at least £50m from sales and so far spent about £18m.

Message to Saints. With less than three weeks until the season start, it is high time to stop faffing about with ridiculous offers and make a few more signings. This one would be a good start.
