Majewski has been vocal about his disappointment at Forest's recent form, and Nigel Adkins, Southampton manager, has been alerted to his availability, having previously attempted to sign him last summer. Majewski is believed to be available for £1.5 million, and should be signed in time for the end of the transfer window on Tuesday.

says he is a left back, already have Fox and Harding and let Dickson go to Orient. Wouldnt make much sense to me, a CH yes as would keep pressure on Hoovield and Fonte and maybe a RB as no obvious cover for Richardson though Butterfield would do okay.

Guess question would be any better than what we have and bearing in mind NA bought Fox would be a bit of an embarassmrnt if we did bring in another left back.

Molde and former Manchester United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is wanting to sign Birmingham's young goalkeeper Jack Butland in the summer. The Norwegian champions have already had a bid rejected for the England under 21 stopper but is expected to double his bid.
Southampton have already had a £2.5 million bid accepted for Butland, who is currently on loan at Cheltenham but manager Nigel Adkins is only going to pursue the deal if they win likely promotion to the Premier Legaue.
Also, Portuguese champions Porto have made contact over the 19 year old and are expected to make a £3 million bid for Butland.

Will be lots of rumours now but whatever league we will need a new goalie as dont think Bart is now up to it and think his injury has had a a lasting affect with his confidence

The Southampton head scout Bill Green is flying out to Rotterdam to watch Feyenoord vs AZ Alkmaar on Sunday. He is monitoring AZ defender Dirk Marcellis and midfielder Maarten Martens. These are seen as potential targets by the Southampton board, and tie in with Cortese's policy of signing cheaper players from abroad (Green was in Holland this time last year to watch Steve De Ridder and Rydell Poepon, the second of which didn't happen in the end). The transfers are largely dependent on whether AZ qualify for Europe, as they are currently second in the Eredivisie, the only place for entry to the qualifying round. A combined bid of £5-7m is though to be on the cards if saints go up and AZ fail to qualify.

It has been mentioned in dispatches that Chris Humphrey the Motherwell flying machine is desrined for the South Coast, after an amazing end of season purple patch.
Humphrey was linked in January 2012, but Motherwell took him out of the firing line and he missed the chance to impress. Southampton, would need to put a decent bid in to price the Flying winger away from playing Champions league next seasonm with Motherwell football Club.

Will be lots of rumours, not many here I would want to sign, Snodgrass the type of midfield player who would be different and think can play at the higher level, not keen on many players at teams who will be relegated, certainly no QPR players. Saw Bassong on tv other day, awful, wouldnt give you a fiver let alone £5m! Buzaky, Johnson they will struggle to get in a decent championship side!


Do expect 1 or 2 from europe somewhere though hopefully will be more effective than de Ridder.
