Re: BARNSLEY COMMENTARY
That was a good battling three points. We're still shaky in a lot of areas, but the new signings have made a difference and Saeijs, for me, is Man of the Match. He was immense (in more than just height) and I think he is going to be a good signing.

Re: BARNSLEY COMMENTARY
yey
work hard, close down up front, defend as a team, let them run out of ideas, take the game to them, get a goal, keep it tight and defend again. simple 1-0 away win easy

Re: BARNSLEY COMMENTARY
david armstrong said holmes as man of the match. sounded as though all the defenders had good games and saga did not get any chances but led the line effectively and defended from the front

Re: BARNSLEY COMMENTARY
Charlton losing to Forest isn't really what we want. Though Forest look as though they are starting to climb away from trouble. If we beat Donny next week we could follow them. Could we have a big gate with a lot of vocal support as in the last game of the season last year. Norwich dropping so if we can beat them afterwards we could start to see a gap below us.

Yes you did. Makes it sound even better.

For once, my confidence was not misplaced!
Let's hope Saints build on this next week and beyond.

First time in a long time that I am able to leave the thread with a smile on my face.
Well done lads and let's have an encore or two, please

Re: BARNSLEY COMMENTARY
charlton are slipping behind, but we've got ourselfback into the mix now with this result and i wouldnt worry we are still in the relegation zone because a win against donny could easily likely take us to 19th (18th if we won 10-0). the main thing is that we are staying in touch and and for 2 league games in a row jan has done everything right

Re: BARNSLEY COMMENTARY
Maybe just maybe the row with Lowe has worked in our favour. Could he have told him to back of or else?
Re: BARNSLEY COMMENTARY
Good win today leaves us all feeling better than for a while. Lord he actually smiled as did Twinkle after she stopped jumping around like a maniac. Even little ggraham was happy because he can go to school without being ridiculed as is normal.
