Re: Burnley Commentary
The whole season is turning out to be a complete joke. Week after week we lament the poor starts that we make. Week after week we hear Jan telling us thatwe are learning and improving. Week after week we wait to see this shown but to no avail. The only saving grace is that the teams below us are as bad if not worse.
Our defence is a great big shambles. Our best defence never seems to be picked on a regular basis. With us leaking goals at the back as we do we should have alternatives being used. Perry for all of his huffing and puffing has gone well past his sale by date. Lancashire has shown a lot of promise but isn't picked.Is Jan scared he will get sent off again? Ollie was a tad unlucky to get more than a yellow first time around and gave his team a chance getting his second yellow the other time he got sent off. He must be a good bet against most of the teams as he shows heart and does at least tackle. Kyle Davies must be due a chance with the run of poor games at the back. He has shown he can head a ball and tackle. With the likelyhood of Pearce returning to his club in three weeks we should be trying the different formations and permutations that will be left. Pearce though he has done well for us has shown indecision at times and still has a lot to learn. When other teams are under pressure their defenders seem to know how to clear the ball by simply hacking it clear. We don't have that simple defensive ploy in our locker and Jan has to shoulder the responsibility for that.
Our midfield keeps on insisting on try to walk the ball into the back of the net. Again the manager should have shown them how to pass and put through balls for our strkers to run on to and smash goalwards. Wingers create chances against us all the time by getting to the bye line and crossing. Surely somebody can train our supposedly clever kids to do similar things to the opposition. Jan again has to shoulder the blame.
Our midfield seems non existent when other teams attack us a lot of the time. Too many attack together with the defence hanging back. Large spaces appear and we have a defence exposed by lack of pace and cover. Jan again.
Our strikers blow hot and cold with cold being the usual temperature. McGoldrick I can't believe gets a starting place every week.BWP also seems to be flavour of the month though one good game is not enough in my book. Robertson has scored once and that was in his first game for us. Pehkhart can't even get a slot on the bench so why haven't we returned him.
All in all it does not look good. Jan picks players who are palpably unfit and bemoans the loss when they have to be removed from the game. In our position we can not take these gambles. If a player is not able to finish a game through fitness or injury he should not start a game. Euell has done well for us when played in his best position but not as a centre forward. Wotton has no place through lack of pace. Perry the same. If Jan insists on playing Perry then he has to change the formation. Use three half backs so we have a bit more solidity at the back and let him knit the others together and talk them through the game. Use Euell as a holding midfield player with Cork.Put James and Skacelas Wing backs but with strict orders to play with defence as their first priority.Then you have a choice as Surman and Lallana could play with one other. Though I would be seriously tempted to play just one of them with the other on the bench. I would like to see Thomson have a go on the wing which would mean putting our biggest and strongest striker in the centre of our attack. With an out and out winger I would push Euell forward and pull Surman back. If Spiderman is completely fit then life is so much easier. Cork replaces James at right back. We have several options open to us and I feel sure some of you could pick a different side to mine and still have a side that looks better than the one Jan picks.
Give us your thought and let us pick the team for Forests' abject surrender to our new found power.

Re: Burnley Commentary
WANTED;
Several Job Vacancies have become Vacant at St Marys Southampton;
1. A scout, not a person that goes camping and sings songs around a camp fire, the person that finds talent on a football field.
2. A chairman and board, not a person that hires out deckchairs on a beach and carries weak boards of thick wood about with him, the person needs to have ambition with a proud and long astablished football club, the board of men that are not yes men for the chairman.
3. Manager. not a person that manages a car park, the person that eats, sleeps, knows, and loves BRITISH FOOTBALL.
4. 11 football players, not 11 persons that just kick a ball about for high wages, these 11 are persons that are proud to wear the shirt of the club, they should put the club and fans before thier wages.
Dear Mr Lowe,
CAN WE HAVE OUR CLUB BACK PLEASE.
