Re: BURNLEY AWAY
Well we do need to start winning games and this ine we could win but cannot see our manager being smart enough to out think Dyche. Our CBs pairing struggle against high balls, no Yoshida for a month means they will be playing and cannot seeing us keeping a clean sheet.
If we are going to get anything from this game then I would expect Redmond to be nowhere near the pitch but seems to be back in favour though didn't do very much at WBA. I would start Boufal instead of Tadic, playing in a no 10 role with licence to attack, not a hope with Mr Cautious, think Burnley will win by the odd goal

Re: BURNLEY AWAY
By all accounts another defensive approach to a game we had to win and just why is he starting Redmond, he was garbage before and still is, Pellegrino has to go but he wont until he has git us relegated, Good goal by Gabbadini and Sims was unlucky but you have to question why these two were not starting then he starts Redmond on the left Tadic right which has been a disaster all season. I don't think I have ever come across a manger that is totally clueless, its like he has learnt nothing despite having the worst record of any saints manager. His quote "we were nervous at times" that's because they are not allowed to attack. Reed is the biggest culprit in all of this not only appointing Pellegrino but doing diddly squat when obviously out of his depth.
Watched the Leicester Stoke game today, Leicester will be fighting relegation next year with Puel, just 1 up front at home to Stoke?? Stoke will be relegated this year

Re: BURNLEY AWAY
A fortunate result I think. Still a point is a point.

Re: BURNLEY AWAY
Thanks Matty. Not sure you're right about Stoke going down....after all they are likely to pick up 3 points on Saturday!!
I have heard there may be a fan club started for Pelligrino....I'm putting your name forward for President, Matty!!

Re: BURNLEY AWAY
Sounds a great idea Mike, As President I can invite him to a meeting with his fans then, can kidnap him for the rest of the season. Mind you that would just play into Les Reed's hand as he would take over so probably in hindsight not such a great idea

Re: BURNLEY AWAY
Basically a good idea, but before you kidnap him get him to sign an agreement that you take over in his absence!!
