BURNLEY COMMENTARY
With Perennial on her way it would be nice if she could check us out and find some good news readily available. So I am asking you boys to whip Burnley's buts big time, okay!
Altered because of my male stupidity.

Re: BURNLEY COMMENTARY
I'll be checking in from time to time, but I'll be 37000 feet above the earth at the time the Burnley game's on, flying between Singapore and Australia. 8)
I'll nervously check the score when I get to Melbourne...

Re: BURNLEY COMMENTARY
Can we finish the season with some fire in our bellies. Going down is bad enough but at least let us do it with some fight.

I do hope so. Just lately it seems more like fire in the bowels.

Re: BURNLEY COMMENTARY
At least if they show a bit of fight it would help us fans look forward to next season. It could also help us find a buyer.

Will you be going with the family SFC?

Re: BURNLEY COMMENTARY
I'd like to but some ******* B****** has done the windows on my car and I have no money to either repair the damage or make it down on Saturday. If anything changes I will let you know.
Re: BURNLEY COMMENTARY
I probably won't be going either .
If it's our last game at SMS as some suggest then I hope someone gets me a seat as a souvenir.

Re: BURNLEY COMMENTARY
I can't believe that we will be allowed to simply close down and stop our existence. There just has to be someone who is ready willing and able to move in and take over the helm. Christ, whoever it is will get a good price and could be classed as a living legend in no time at all. The most important thing now is, time. That is the one thing that we have little of and it is running down very quickly.
So what happens once we have a buyer and the club is saved? How many people will pay for season Tickets? Who will be picked up as our new manager? How much money will he have to spend? How many players will we need to buy to live with the new league? Is it going to remain our club as is now, or will we regain the unconditional feeling of love that we used to feel?
I have seen us in the old Division 3 south and now I will be going to take my son to see us play in todays equivalent. Division 1 at least sounds better. For a small club with limited resourses I suppose some would say I have been lucky. I have seen all of our time at the top. Some, like my son, may never get the chance to see us play again, let alone play at the top level. That doesn't make me feel lucky but it does make me feel very very sad.
So I implore all saints fans who can get to the game. Cheer like never before. Make this game a game fitting as a possible last hoorah. Push and pull the ball into the Burnley net so at least we can say we went with a fight. Whether it is down and out, or down to league one. COYR

I am 6733 miles away (and getting further away because I'll be on a plane between Singapore and Melbourne when the game's on) but I will be there in spirit.
Like all of us, I hope to f*** it does not come to extinction.

Re: BURNLEY COMMENTARY
I hope I am not wrong but I have a good feeling about today. Dunkirk spirit and all that.
Re: BURNLEY COMMENTARY
I always have a good feeling SFC, but I'm normally wrong.
According to the OS Gillett has recovered from his injury. I wonder if he will play today.
