Re: KOEMAN GONE
Well I would be very disappointed in Koemans if he leaves after everything he has said about contracts and criticised Man Utd for how they treated Van Gall, it would be very hypocritical. Do think saints could do more to show commitment with some early signings and not convinced Koeman and Reed get on.
That said some decent managers out there Pellegrini, Emery, De Boer and we have European football, would prefer continuity but in premiership football that is a rarity si if he proves cannot be trusted then refuse Everton permission to talk, when they do, as seems they have report to PL and look to sue Koeman for damages for breach of contract, we do need to get a back bone so clubs and players stop seeing us as a soft touch.

Re: KOEMAN GONE
It looks like he is as good as gone. I don't know how he sleeps at night!!
Just hope now that the club can make a good appointment and quickly, so the players won't want to jump ship.
What are your thoughts on Emery? Having recent Europa successes might encourage the players to give it a shot?

Re: KOEMAN GONE
Well front runners seem to be Emery, Howe the ex spurs/Chelsea guy, AVB.My preference would be someone with European experience which rules out Howe,. Would like Emery or Pellegrini, though Emery would again if be off if a success so Pellegrini for me would be a good choice. Some , no please not them, Moyes, Hughes,
Was keen on Howe a few months ago but no European experience and quite poor last few months.
Still think there is an issue with Reed thinking he is is most important person at club once Cortese left and don't forget he survived while all others got the push from Cortese, suggesting to me he is more quite devious

Re: KOEMAN GONE
Thanks guys. From a distance, this looks like very poor behaviour by Koeman. Hopefully he comes clean on this sooner than later.

Re: KOEMAN GONE
Expect to hear lacked ambition wouldn't sign the players he wanted, to good an offer to refuse, always had a soft spot for Everton. No doubt will meet up with Lovren and lallana to share stories how badly saints treated them. Telegraph say Koeman already wealthy ut those in football always want more money.. Remember the deal to sign Koeman took a few week so think he plays hard ball when. It in front of the cameras
Having thought about it Pellegrini or Emery for me, would squash rumours of no ambition and would give us a chance to go further in Europa cup, plus would ,make signing foreign players easier. Either please and in by next weekend, would like long gird down to a long contract ut doubt can do as away for euros

Re: KOEMAN GONE
Howe seems a decent guy, but I think signing him would be a backward step as for some reason he reminds me of Adkins.
I read somewhere that Emery will only move to a Champions League club....pity if that's true. Hope you are right in your faith in Pellegrini Matt....I've never been a great fan but would love to be proved wrong.

Re: KOEMAN GONE
Would be amazed if Howe actually snubs us if we were to approach him, if he did really would show not up for the job. Do need to get their finger out and sort quickly so we don't waste time. Emery first choice see if interested if not move on, I like Pellegrini but Frank de Boer is free, been shafted by Everton, and no club involved.

According to his agent, De Boer is not interested. Are we going to have to settle for anyone who will agree to come??
And it won't be Emery.....

Re: KOEMAN GONE
It does show that the board are not always as clever as they think they are, if they did not have a known replacement, Howe needed another year in premiership then keeping Koeman should have been a priority, the £5m compensation could look pretty poor value if we end up with someone like moyes as only one available and interested. Pellegrini looking a better bet the longer this goes on

Re: KOEMAN GONE
Looking at the betting odds this morning, I see Garcia is still favourite, although he has eased out slightly. Meanwhile Claude Puel has come right in to 3 or 4/1. This is the first mention of him that I have seen.

Re: KOEMAN GONE
Off to Spain today for a week and hopefully some sunshine. Hopefully we will sign a manager soon, think Pellegrini may be seen as best bet of who are willing to come and would prefer a strong manager with reputation to keep Reed in his place, his job is manage the club not the team/ players
