But.....and it's a great big BUT I don't think we will sign as many as 7 new players so that some of these may be in the squad.......

I agree Mike I dont think he will sign more than 4 players with maybe one loan from a premiership side so at leat a couple will get a chnace and think might be bart and barnard. If we had another decent keeper as back up, then could afford bart to go loan and see how he does and Barnard might get a chance if he can stay fit and keep out of trouble.

Taking this a step further has anyone got thoughts on players they would like to see brought in?

If Blackpool don't go up it would be nice to think we might get hold of their winger Tom Ince. And good things have been said about the Celtic midfielder Joe Ledley but I don't know how much chance there is of a move to Saints.

Saints confirm first list of those being released which include Connolly and Bart, dont think any real surprises here but good to see the promotion of the 4 from the Acadamy to the first team squad.

suspect to see a couple more departures but for fees.
