the JUDAS fans who arent going cos of lowe ,yes mate what a good exscuse that is cos as you can see they are always on the pitch in our team right?
oh and this bollocks its getting too much maybe with the credit crunch ,but before the credit crunch i doubt it was more than when we were in the prem.stop making fucking exscuse you either support saints or you dont...ive been supporting southampton a measely 2 or 3 years yet i know supporting saints i cant not go and watch them maybe in a few years i might feel the same but i doubt it i still go with my 83 year old grandad whos supported saaints since he was a little kid.
blaming the fans isnt always true but it is in our case we bitch we have no money but we wont shell out our own money.

Re: stay away fans pissing me off
I think it's fine to moan about having no money, when it's been patently mismanaged, as it is in our case. In the case of fans staying away because of Lowe returning, well that it utterly preposterous and you're right to feel peeved about that!
The credit crunch is definitely a valid reason for people staying away. There are severe fears of a recession and trust me Deano, if you've got a big !00% mortgage and are also supporting a wife and kid on your own. You wouldn't think twice about missing a few games, in order to have a bit more money for food and rising fuel bills!
Unfortunately mate, when you grow up your priorities change. Once football was the most important thing to me. Since getting married and buying a house my priorities have completely changed. I'd rather see our club go bankrupt then see my family on the streets!

Re: stay away fans pissing me off
Like you I get really annoyed by these so called fans.. By all means come on to the forums and make your comments about the good or bad way things are progressing. Do not vent your anger against the team which so far this season have tried their best to give us what you want.
Our forum is a happy little place where we discuss any topic related to our beloved team. Sometimes we will differ with our opinions but we will not take our negative vibes to the ground.
We all want to see the lads win and win in style. If our bosses were to stand over us in the way these people(for want of a better word) do our team how would they react?
If they can't back our team without slagging them off during a game then they should go somewhere else.
LET THE SUPPORTERS WHO CARE CHEER THE BOYS AND HELP THEM OVER THE HURDLE.
WE DO NOT NEED BEING TOLD DAILY THAT WE ARE AT THE WRONG END OF THE TABLE.
OUR TEAM DOES NEED US CHEERING THEM ON.
If people llike Deano can't be allowed to watch our lads in an environment supporting our lads, choice is simple.
Stay away or button it. The pleasure of watching our team is vastly reduced by these morons and they don't understand what they are doing. Miserable loutish behaviour is what stops a lot of parents taking their kids to a game. This affects the gate which in turn affects our spending capability. It also affects the future fan base.
So Deano I and a lot of supporters feel like you on this topic. Guess we'll have to shout louder to drown them out.

Good post. It certainly seems that the fans who are always ridiculously negative don't even go to the games. Take a look on 'SaintsWeb' and you'll notice how the positive comments are from fans at the game and the negative comments are from fans who don't even know what the score is.

Re: stay away fans pissing me off
It comes down to the question: 'do you support the CLUB or hate the CHAIRMAN more?'. Personally I support the CLUB more than I hate the Chairman. I detest Lowe, but as so many other things compete for my time and money at present (I don't have a family, but my priorities are no less important to me) going to games has to take a back seat for now, although if my job paid more than a measly £6 an hour I'd be there.
I agree that boycotting because of the chairman is shortsighted and stupid and will only lead to more problems for the club. Like it or not, we are stuck with Lowe for the foreseeable future and we just have to get on with it, unless a takeover happens.

Re: stay away fans pissing me off
Deano we all know that other site is full of people who like nothing better than slagging every other person but themselves off.
At least on this sit if we have something to say and others disagree they do so in a way that can lead to a sensible outcome. We choose to diagree or not.
Our side is struggling to score. What these ??????? forget is that we have a small squad compared to other teams in experienced players. They are gaining that though weekly. Mills played today and I feel that he did okay first time round.
You are like a lot of us in a position of low finance. Why others take inability to go to matches as a fault I fail to comprehend. Myself, I am on a state pension and have 4 kids. Money is tight but I still go occasionally. Nowhere as often as I would like but that does not stop me following my team.
I know you wear your colours with pride as do all of us on here. I wear mine also and get strange looks at times but I don't give a damn. Let them get on with their moaning and stay with us . Let us know how each player did in your opinion because that helps us to form our own.

Fans like that are a waste of space. Apart from the money they won't be missed.

Bloody hell.
I know we're struggling at the wrong end of the Championship at the moment and Lowe's a tosser but switching to Pompey? That means only one thing - those guys are plastics and are only interested in supporting whoever's seen to be doing well at a given moment. Should our's and Pompey's fortunes reverse again (soon I hope! ) those twats will be back. They're not fans, they are the worst kind of plastic - the glory hunter.
