Well, as this thread is looking a bit sad, I'll be the first.

Not a great performance but a goal and, just as importantly, a clean sheet (see, Saints, it can be done!). We're out of the relegation zone and if Saints keep on improving then there's no reason why we shouldn't stay out of the relegation zone and move up into the top half of the table. Only one criticism (just a small one) we should have scored more. Oh and will someone please teach Papa Waigo N'Daiye the offside rule!

Didn't really play well at all against a Wycombe side who fortunately were very little threat throughout the whole game. Defensively we were good exept Harding who had a mare after picking up an injury early on and making some bad passes. The midfield just didn't keep the ball well enough but were often bypassed by the long ball. Up front Lambert was off his game except the goal and Lallana was quiet. Papa was the only one who showed any kind of intelligence, skill or desire going forward. Antonio looked like a headless chicken when he came on for him. Generally the whole team was sloppy and couldn't string together more than a couple of passes. Fortunately Wycombe were the same. The atmosphere was poor with the lowest attendance of the season, the whole stadium was rather soulless. Good to get out of the relegation zone though and to finally get a clean sheet.

Bart 7 Had very little to do but was very safe with crosses and came out well a few time
Murty 7 Still a little bit rusty but much more solid than James (or Thomas) at right back.
Perry 8 Did very well in most respects. An extremely important goal saving tackle. Won most in the air
Jaidi 8 Also very good and always strong and determined. Since the Brighton game when he looked like he didn't want to be there he has had a couple of good games.
Harding 5 Not his best, low on confidence after getting stick from crowd and didn't really recover.
James 5 Didn't really have anything to do in holding midfield but couldn't create anything when moved to the right.
Hammond 5 Didn't really impose himself on the game at all.
Schneiderlin 7 Some very good tackles and passing nearly always good unlike the rest.
Lallana 5 Thought he had a quiet game personally and didn't get past his man at all or get in good postions. Did have one shot well saved by keeper though.
Papa Waigo 7 He was the only player going forward who showed any creativity going forward and worked the channels well. Did well to pick out Lambert for goal. I wasn't in line, but there were a couple of decisions were he was actually quite far onside in the second half. The linesmen on the Kinsgland side was generally poor.
Lambert 6 At times unlucky that without Connolly there was no-one getting his flick ons but also a lot of sloppy touches and passes.

Subs:
Antonio 5 Looked lost and fluffed a couple of good chances. Tried to lob the keeper from along way out and managed to drill the ball along the floor towards the corner flag.
Wotton 6 Did some head tennis
Mellis 5 Only on 5 minutes but long enough to see once again his complete lack of work rate and tracking back.
