I think this one will be close and I don't think there will be many goals. Palace have been playing well and it will be tough. Saints will need to be up for it. Maybe 1-0 either way or 1-1 or even 0-0. The defence have to avoid making stupid mistakes.

I think will be a really difficult game, Palace are good on the break, unlucky at Liverpool and a decnt cup win over spurs so will be full of confidence and like Mike do not think will be much in it and I think a draw would be a decent result, problem is with others around us getting decent results we really need a win to try and keep some space between us and Cardiff/Fulham

Well both right Mike with a draw, didn't go due to work, not feeling great and freezing cold here. By all accounts a point a fair result, Palace hard to break down, sat deep and gave us little room to get in behind and then looked to hit us on the break or set pieces with like of Sako. They created more chances than we did, poor gola to concede as we gave the ball away cheaply, ball played to Zaha, poor defending by Valary to allow him to get onto his right foot and McCarthy, not for the first time beaten at the near post and questions over his positioning.

Thankfully Palace seemed to settle for a 1 nil win, and a decent cross in from Targett was well met by Ward Prowse to equalize. Sako then had a good chance to score but headed over and Zaha lost his cool and managed to get 2 yellows to get sent off but looked like from highlights we settled for a draw. General comments were we played poorly, bit like the West Ham game but have come away with a point. McCarthy didn't have a good night dealing with crosses, had Bedanek to thank for a goal line clearance

Think the performance shows we do need to bring in a couple of new faces to freshen up things plus give us different options. Do the deal for Evans from Birmingham and the Genk RB, both are seemingly around the £12m price so hardly busting the bank, both look to be targets that Ralph wants for the long term so brining in early a bonus even if paying slightly over the odds, but not by much. Far to close at the bottom to not bring in anyone in having let a number of experienced players leave, Lemina and Bertrand still on the injury list, the squad looks pretty thin.

Well no new signings so could be a few worrying times before May. Not sure whether this is really HRH's idea or if he is doing as told.

Found it a bit worrying that after Palace game HRH said he looked on it as a point won rather than 2 lost and he was pleased to get a draw. Surely he should have been disappointed not to get a win??

I think he was being honest in that we were lucky Wednesday to get a point as could easily have been 2 down and would never have got back for a point.

A typically depressing transfer window, cannot believe RH will be happy and shows that with Gao, Kat and Kruger running the show its all about taking money out of the club not investing and we will still have Wilson on recruitment who should have been shown the door along with Reed. Think we will survive, just, because of RH but also think unless he is supported early in the Transfer market he will walk, his reputation has already been enhanced so other clubs will be looking at him and will be willing to offer transfer budgets,

If ever going to improve we need Gao and Liebherr and Kruger out of the club. Gao sold most of his shares in Lander recently so not sure of his long term intentions, I still think it was all about him getting his money out of China and while we stay in the premiership he will hang around and take money out of the club. Katarina sold us down the river.
