Re: LIVERPOOL AWAY
very good Mike and have to agree. Lallana back and think Coutino fit so cannot see us getting anything, especially if he persists with Boufal and Tadic together. Afetr last week I would drop Tadic and Redmond start Hojberg and JWP, bring in Casceres for Stephens, with Gabbadini and Boufal up front but know he wont so looking at a 3 0 defeat

Re: LIVERPOOL AWAY
Good point away from home, though we didn't really have much of a threat upfront. Never learns about Boufal and Tadic, I would sell Tadic in the summer and buy someone either with a greater goal threat or a more dominant midfield player capable of winning the ball and running with it.
Forster must want to sign for Liverpool, best he has played for weeks.

Re: LIVERPOOL AWAY
Yeah, a quality point in the end.
Off topic I know, but once again Australia has an entrant in Eurovision. I don't get it either.
Following Brexit, are you guys still in it ?

Re: LIVERPOOL AWAY
Pete,
we are still in it but bit like the World Cup, no hope of winning!!
Most of the time the songs are rubbish sung by unknowns but even if it is a good song no one votes for UK anyhow. They want us there though as BBC are major players with the funding!

Re: LIVERPOOL AWAY
Now don't get me started on Eurovision......I loved that back in the sixties and seventies but it's just not the same nowadays. The song this year needs a chorus to lift it, and as you say Matt, it's an unknown singer. The UK will be in the bottom 4, that's for sure. Surely there must be some well-known singer who would be willing to take it on...... maybe even a big name from the eighties/nineties who has gone out of the limelight and would welcome the exposure.
Alternatively, I would make it a condition of winning The X Factor each year that the winner would HAVE to represent the UK in the song contest, a bit like the Britain's Got Talent winner goes on the Royal Variety Performance. At least the X Factor winner would be better known than the singers they use for Eurovision these days. OK, I realise X Factor is ITV while Eurovision goes out on BBC.......but surely that could be overcome.

Re: LIVERPOOL AWAY
Getting back on topic, I thought it was a good point but the front line were shocking. And Gabbiadini seems to have lost the enthusiasm..... hope Charlie Austin comes back fit and hungry.
