It's been a while since Saints won at Anfield, any chance on Sunday?

Not overly optimistic, we should have played today as Liverpool effectively rested players Thursday night and that has given an extra day for them to gain fitness. Away in Edinburgh at the moment so haven't seen much in press but hope Steke is fit to go in goal. I think will lose 2 0 but if we can get to the hour mark the confidence may go for Liverpool.

Likes of Mane, Bertrand,Pellets and JWP need to play better than last week to avoid a battering

Thought we looked to be worth the point, which was nice. Mane was a complete idiot for getting 2 yellow cards, Koeman did not look happy about that.

Although only on the pitch for the last 10 or 15 minutes, it was very interesting to see that Gaston looked sharp and probably the best I have seen him play. Perhaps he'll do something for us at last, he should get the chance with Mane being suspended.

Yeah a good result in the end, well worth a point. Not sure what Mane was up to, looked almost like he wanted a red card to make sure he had Wednesday night off! Shame that Long and JRod injured as would have been good opportunity for them, amazing Ramerez now in final months of contract and in shop window had a decent performance as a sub, call me cynical but timing seems highly convenient. Maybe play him in a more forward role against Villa as his defending is poor but can control the ball well.
