Thomas at right back hey? I'd like to see Cork there, but once James has learned to play there, I think he'll be very useful.

Re: Starting Eleven against QPR?
Five selections so far and appearing in all five are: Davis, Svensson, Surman, Gillett, Schneiderlin, Lallana, Dyer, McGoldrick and Holmes so that would appear to be 9 of the team taken care of! For the remaining 2 places there are 4 votes for James, 3 for Cork, 2 for Perry and 1 for Thomas.
Re: Starting Eleven against QPR?
A little more controversial perhaps, but my thoughts at the moment:
Davis, James, Perry, Cork, Skacel, Schneiderlin, McGoldrick, Gillett, Holmes, Lallana, Peckhart.
Bench: Bart, Wotton, Surman, Dyer, John

Soon as I posted this I realised I'd forgotten Schneiderlin so I edited the post with Schneiderlin in and John on the bench.
My idea was James, Svennson, Cork, Skacel at the back
Schneiderlin, Lallana and Gillett midfield
McGoldrick and Holmes on the wings
Peckhart up front
Re: Starting Eleven against QPR?
i'd definitely like to see cork and peckhart starting especially cork. skacel needs to get back in the team now as well, however bwp should stay in exile

So what is your starting line-up??
Re: Starting Eleven against QPR?
Davis
James Perry Cork Surman
Gillett Schneiderlin
Lallana
Holmes McGoldrick
Peckart
Bench :- Bart,John,Thomas,Dyer
Was tempted to have Bart as I recall him at start of his time with us and he was brilliant before he got injured. I wouldn't be surprised to see Wotton in there as a partner for Morgan to stiffen up our midfield. Just hope Peckhart gets 2 to go with Mcg adding one late on.
Can dream can't we.As suggested by Mike I have edited my pick. Learn a new trick every week.

Re: Starting Eleven against QPR?
Top 11 could well make the team.Fascinating how close we all are in reality.
Re: Starting Eleven against QPR?
Oh dear.....Svensson is out for Sunday.....from the Echo's webpages:
'SAINTS captain Michael Svensson will sit out Sunday’s Championship clash with QPR.
The Swedish defender has made a remarkable return this season following the best part of four years out and five operations on his knee injury.
Svensson’s problem is even more untimely with Wayne Thomas also a major doubt for the game, leaving Jan Poortvliet to pick from teenagers Oliver Lancashire or Jack Cork.
The Swede is one of TEN ever presents in the league after four games, but has sat out both of Saints’ midweek Carling Cup ties against Exeter and Birmingham.
Head coach Poortvliet has revealed that Svensson reported a slight problem with his knee when the players returned to training this week and said he wouldn’t be fit to resume action following the international break at Loftus Road.
Saints have carefully managed Svensson’s comeback this season and, not wishing to push him too far too soon, he has yet to play two games in a week.
Both Svensson, who is currently working on a weights programme to strengthen the muscles around the knee, and Poortvliet hope he will be available to face Ipswich at St Mary’s next Wednesday.
But Poortvliet will give the 31-year-old the final say on when he is ready to make a return. “Michael will be not playing on Sunday,” Poortvliet said.'

Re: Starting Eleven against QPR?
See Deano knows the score. He mentioned this on his b-day card thread. Killer wouldn't be playing to rest the knee, he's ITK you see. 8)

Re: Starting Eleven against QPR?
I know Dean said his dad's friend knows Killer, perhaps that is how he heard!! Still think it would be great if Killer could be persuaded to register on here!! ;)
Re: Starting Eleven against QPR?
Totally agree. Would be nice to know how the team feels about the progress being made.
