If he is on a free I suppose this would be worth doing......and I guess it would suit Reed not to have to pay a fee.   But I rather hope they might strengthen in depth by also signing the Celtic guy, Van Djik, who is supposed to be really class.  It seems from the papers up here that he is keen to get a move to a Prem League club.  Trouble is he would not come cheap which would put Reed off.

Agree about Vlaar, he was awful against us last year and know he may play better in a well coached team but would much prefer van djik

Ebilico looks an interesting option of a player still with potential, type of signing I would prefer to likes on Vlaar

looks like the clubs have agreed fee so now down to sorting our personal terms but in view of how long Classie has been talked about hopefully done soon. Supposedly another Dutchman on the way in Van Dijk and a midfield player, hopefully a bit of a powerhouse like wanyama to protect the back 4
