I don't agree with all of it, but it seems to me that much of this post (found on the Echo website) makes a lot of sense.....

We survived but our points tally from the last 8 games was atrocious...

..in order for us to seriously progress a massive dose of realism is required...

Why do we dominate possession and still not win...

Why do we make clear cut chances yet have such a poor conversion rate.

What can we do to improve our mental strength and not crumble under the last ten minutes of pressure.

How do we learn to win ugly when we are not playing well.

How do we improve Lallana so he becomes the end product.

Who is cover for Ricky.

We need four international level players.

I do believe some players may suprise us now they have got over the butterfly's, JRod...Mayuka as well..

Spider and Shaw are becoming world class..Lambert need service but will still shine next year..

..and finally, scoring with headers from set pieces would be nice.

Most of those are spot on but I would alter one of them a bit:

"We need four international level players"


I would change that to:

We need four international level players who are hungry and who are not wanting to just pick up a massive wage because of who they are.

Wouldn't disagree with the comments but bear in mind a number of this squad played Div 1 just 2 seasons ago and life was easier then, more chances to score and takes time to adjust.

Really would like someone to work on Lallana who has talent but has failed to deliver this season and hasn't looked a goal threat for months.

New signings need mental strength as well as skill and would like to see some players able to boss the midfield, don't think Adam is a great captain.

Sadly Adam is starting to remind me of Drew Surman. Flattered to deceive but ended up with the washing. I love the boy as a player but am worried that he is a tad light weight and will not be as big a star for us as I had hoped.
