Re: A RESULT AT ANFIELD??
Hate to put the mockers on now back from hols, 3 games unbeaten while I was out of the country.
Think we might actually get a draw as Liverpool are not one of the top teams this year and their defence will give us chances. I would go with Davis in goal, don't want to undermine Gazzinger's confidence but when you make mistakes and have other players such as Kelvin around think you have to give the other guys an opportunity.

Can't see this one as a draw Matty.....think it will be a result by 3 or more clear goals one way or the other!
I have a very strange feeling that this could be Saints' match of the season and will go for.....
Liverpool 1 Saints 4

I don't know Matty...Liverpool aren't the team they were. I'd feel happier if Suarez wasn't in their side, though. That said, I'd be happy with just a point.

Re: A RESULT AT ANFIELD??
While a loss at Liverpool at start of the season would not have been a bad result does look like we were fairly negative and cannot understand why Mayuka is not giving a chance especially when we are losing. He has pace and is unpredictable and the couple of occassions I have seen him looks like a good impact player.

Has Mayuka upset someone? Likewise Lee.
That was disappointing. I though we could have at least got a point. And reading media websites with comment sections, just how arrogant are Liverpool fans.

Re: A RESULT AT ANFIELD??
Somewhat worrying that Adkins seems to view the game as deserving of a draw and a reasonable performance whereas just about every other view seems to have been that Saints were complete rubbish. I think we need to bounce back with good results in the next 2 games, anything less than 6 points won't be good enough.....and I think Reading will prove very hard to beat.
Re: A RESULT AT ANFIELD??
Well Reading gave Man Utd a big scare yesterday and while Utd's defence is suspect, it's not as bad as ours is. We have home advantage but I am concerned about the Reading game because, like us, they can score goals. That said, we should be looking at 6 points from that game, and Sunderland.
