Re: CAN WE GET A RESULT AT BRIGHTON?
If Saints concentrate, don't make silly mistakes and are cohesive then I don't see why we can't beat them. Hopefully they'll have a collective hangover after securing both promotion and the league and we can take advantage. It'll be imperative to win if Huddersfield and Peterboro pick up points on Friday, especially maximum points.
I admit I feel more than a little envious of Brighton's fans. That could and - given the 'favourites' tag on Saints for most of the season and the squad we have - really should have been us, if it weren't for the usual Saints nonsense of a crap start to the season, managerial shenanigans and our usual habit of doing things the bloody hard way!

Re: CAN WE GET A RESULT AT BRIGHTON?
Who knows with saints! We will have to dig deep as probably no Barnie on top of Chamberlain and Schneiderlin and no guarantee Lallana will start. On that basis will take a draw as don't know if these point will all add up at end of season. I would like to see him play Chaplow, Stephens and Hamond and Lallana. Guly up front with Lambert. That would be tough on Forte who probably deserves a start but he looks more likely to impact coming off the bench than Guly.
I am expecting a very close game and will be all about who gets that bit of luck with a kind bounce or dodgy refereeing decision. Brighton will be relaxed and look to play so want saints right in their faces from the off, no time to settle on the ball and see if they want fight for it.

Udders won today so we need to get something from the Brighton game. Peterboro lost, they're now all but out of it and it's down to us and Udders.

Re: CAN WE GET A RESULT AT BRIGHTON?
Saints last 5 fixtures
BRIGHTON (A)
HARTLEPOOL (H)
BRENTFORD (A)
PLYMOUTH (A)
WALSALL (H)
Huddersfield last 3 fixtures
DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE (H)
BRIGHTON (A)
BRENTFORD (H)
So we don't have any home games in hand..........and the attitude of Brighton and Brentford in their matches against both of us will have a massive influence on who goes up.

Re: CAN WE GET A RESULT AT BRIGHTON?
The team did precisely what was needed, got a result. Left it a bit late though!
Nearly forgot - GET IN!!!!
Poyet is a graceless tosser. Dagenham with Lambert? That just sounds bitter and small time.

Re: CAN WE GET A RESULT AT BRIGHTON?
Great result even if at 1620 I was working out if to book a hotel in Manchester for the play off finals! Can put those thoughts on hold and think potentially a big mental blow for Hudders with us coming from behind with just 6 minutes left to win. Always said we had to win 6 of last 8 games and still on course for that. Three wins from four now so just have to keep the pressure on. Crucial we win the 2 home games and then pick up a win hopefully at Brentford.
Think bringing Connolly off the bench is the way to go as his fitness and injury history would mean a risk from the start. I would play Forte up front, drop Guly to bench and play only one wide midfield player. Lallana if fit if not then Nguessen. Think that has a better shape than to
this season has proved to be a bit of a roller coaster so can almost guarantee will be more twists and turns

Re: CAN WE GET A RESULT AT BRIGHTON?
Poyet's interview is a bit embarassing really.
I would keep Connolly on the bench because he gives us an option when things aren't going our way and is more effective at unlocking tired defences late on in games. Presuming Barnard is still out on monday I would play Guly up front and Forte and Lallana on the wings.
