After the Leeds match I felt convinced Saints would get promoted............after tonight's match I feel convinced that they won't. My mood swings are worrying me............hope I feel better in the morning!

I am concerened about the charge that Reading are mounting. They are a good side and the 14th April game is going to be a massive one for us. If Pompey do go belly up, it could push us over the finishing line.

well I had originally 86 points for us and wasnt sure would be enough and dont think it will be now but think we will get 87 points now and with goal difference that might get second spot, think 89 or 90 will be needed for top spot. 7 wins would get us there but is that to big a ask with only 10 games?

I don't want to put a curse on things but it does seem as if we will get promoted (*touches wood*). However - as greedy as it sounds - I want Saints to go up as Champions (I expect we all do, even those who say 'Who cares, second will do') and not get pipped to it by Reading whose current form is, I'm sure, down to the arrival of Jason Roberts in January. The good thing is, promotion and the title are totally in Saints hands no matter what West Ham do, even though they have a game in hand.

I don't like to see people injured but Roberts has done his hamstring so that is good news for us, given how instrumental he has been for them.

Have tried not to be overly optimistic for saints, 3 wins 3 draws and 2 defeats last 8 games.
