MAN OF MATCH?
Re: MAN OF THE MATCH AGAINST BOURNEMOUTH
Difficult decision. Barnard worked his socks off and gave their defenders grief all day, Lallana was a problem for them all game, Fonte was class and Schneiderlin was in one of his impressive days. Any of those deserve it but going with Barnard as he put in a terrific shift, played a big part in second pen. Read Lambert's post on OS, when he says he watched most of the passing go on he wasn't kidding and bet Barney feels miffed at times he doesn't get to take the pens.

Re: MAN OF THE MATCH AGAINST BOURNEMOUTH
Barnard was superb as he has been in most games this season. When he first came I thought he didn't have much to his game apart from goals and he seemed very lightweight but this season he has given a lot more to the team.
Morgan was also quality, but Barnard edges it.
