Well done Saints, didn't bottle it and took three points despite an indifferent performance. Bournemouth were the better side in the first half but we improved in the second. We've got games in hand over Udders and Peterborough so if we don't screw those up, it's in our hands.

Three games against Bournemouth this season and three wins. I wish Bournemouth all the best for the rest of the season, as long as they finish below us. Now, let's hope that our win puts all the Saints v Cherries nonsense, whipped up by the likes of the Bournemouth and Southampton Echos (aided and abetted by Radio Solent - was it my imagination [quite possible] but did Solent seem a tad disappointed we won?), to bed. Just back from week in Cyprus (just my luck wasn't that hot!) but made so much better by wins against Yeovil and Bournemouth. Saturdays win was crucial but cannot afford any slip ups as still very close and Pboro are on a good run. We all have similar finishes so will be who can hold their nerve and win the most games.

Losing Schneiderlin is a blow as one of our better players but glad to see Hammond on the score sheet last couple of games.

With 12 games left think we will have to win 8 or 9 games if we want second place and have some tough games in there, none of the away games will be easy but wins will be the difference between 2nd and 3rd place.
