The entire article smacks of bitterness. They eventually went above us, after decades of trying and, after five years of rubbing our noses in it, have contrived to royally bugger it up - and they know it, despite being bullish about it.

I have just watched the ITV4 FA Cup programme - what a load of utter bollox! They spent their time talking to Lou Macari and Nigel Clough, plus did some crap quiz and barely mentioned tomorrow's game. I realise the match tomorrow is not that much of a big deal outside the Hampshire/Isle of Wight area, but 1s⁻⁴⁵ of a mention is taking the p!ss just a tad. I just hope the coverage tomorrow is better than the preview programme.

Good point about Thomas especially after his performance against MK Dons, wouldnt be surprised to see him play James at RB. I think Thomas is better but will he keep his cool?

As I can't go I'll be watching on the telly. Those going please intimidate the hell out of the skates, ta. I want their players to be as sh!t scared today as our lot were against them at Fallingdown Park in 2005.

I think you will agree PU that our fans did us proud. SFC went and is now struggling. His healthis not good. men can be so dim at times. Enjoyed the game till it was lost. Commentators were full of praise for us and said Pompey were lucky.

They might have the win, but we have the moral high ground, we still historically have more wins and goals over them (ergo we STILL have bragging rights) and, hopefully soon, we'll be the only ones with a club. They won't.

Even the Mirror says James won the match for them with some world class saves. At times in the first half he looked less than world class. We lost but will come again. Pompey are not able to say that with any confidence at the moment.
