The BBC updater thingy is a load of old crap. If you're below the CCC the BBC, like everyone else, just pays lip service and can't be arsed. They usually give up after 75 minutes.

This is getting worrying now. I don't give a flying toss if some might accuse me of overreacting or a knee-jerk reaction, but I am getting bloody pissed off with no wins, the team STILL conceding once ahead. It's just not good enough and the time for excuses is long past. We go ahaead, and then the team get a bad case of rabbits-in-headlights syndrome and suddenly the balls' in our net.
That twat Trollope (BR manager) was punching the air afterwards. I wish someone could have punched him after his pre-match comments.

Now I have to go to bed, up early for work tomorrow, there's no way I can go to bed now. I'm too pissed off.

We don't stand a chance until we stop acting like headless chickens and getting all girlie shit-scared once we take the lead, and also when we realise football matches last 90 minutes - plus whatever stoppage time the referee sees fit to add on - and not 45 minutes or 75 minutes or 80 minutes or even 89 minutes...

Not panicking yet, by a long way, but definitely very concerned. :panic:

A win on Saturday is a MUST. No more excuses.

Leaving the ground last night was one of the saddest nights of my very old life. There was no noise apart from the joyous songs from the rovers fans. Saints fans were simply walking in stunned silence to wherever.
If a film crew had appeared I would have thought we were extras from a Zombie movie as it was so quiet. If we don't win on Saturday I am going to be starting a panic attack. Rovers were there for the taking after our second goal and I truly believed we were on the way to three points. A good well worked goal and suddenly we were all over Rovers like a rash. Trouble is we still have not got the killer instinct and can't kill teams off.
Saturday has become the most important game of the season now. The gap between us and safety has widened again and we are now back to the 10 points we started with.
I fully expect to see some changes for the game and hope that Lee Holmes will be one of them. Thomas has to play if fit as well.

You guys must be absolutely gutted. I almost feel embarrassed we got the 3 points as we only took the lead for the first time in the last minute of added time. Still, I don't feel so bad that we lost Ricky to you now.
Good luck for rest of the season. :suspect:

Thanks. As sickeners go, it was the sickener to end all sickeners. Even now it is still incredibly galling - but it is SO Saints to shoot themselves in the foot like this.

I don't give a toss about all the excuses - we nearly didn't exist in the summer, we didn't have a pre-season, the team need to gel, they are lacking in confidence, blah, blah, blah. It's all bullshit. The time for excuses is now past. The team have to start winning, and this has to start Saturday.
