Former Saints linked with Swansea job

According to Wales on line:

"Former Southampton man Jan Poortvliet was a man credited with getting Southampton to play some superb football last year, his attempts let down by off-the-field problems and severe financial restrictions, and the Dutch style would not look out of place.

"Paul Tisdale is another young and up-and-coming boss who is bound to register on Swansea’s radar after his excellent work with Exeter having already been linked with the vacant Reading and Watford jobs."

Right at the beginning of the buying war we were told that a manager had already been aproached bt this consortium. If so I was wondering whether Strachan had been aproached or whether someone like dowie had. We shouldn't have too much longer to wait to find out.
My main concern is as to whether this person has lined up a few players for us. Time is running out as many clubs have already started changing their teams around.
