Can Saints be first team to get 3 points at Swansea??
I believe Swansea are unbeaten at home in the League so far this season, can we spoil their run?
Re: Can Saints be first team to get 3 points at Swansea??
I have put this post on Rivals' Swansea messageboard, let's see if anyone comes on here.......
'I'm scared......I'm a Saints fan!!
We've noticed the Swans are unbeaten this season while we have been going through a rough patch for the last three matches.
Our defence is often non-existent and although our forwards can create plenty of chances they have forgotten how to score (even from the penalty spot)!!
Are the Swans going to thrash our kids on Saturday?
If you are willing to tell Saints fans your views please come to www.ohwhenthesaints.net .....'

Would certainly lift spirits. Sorry that's our hands that do that isn't it. I would be more than pleased to raise a glass if we can.

Re: Can Saints be first team to get 3 points at Swansea??
To be honest we are more than a little concerned ourselves. Performances like last nights can't be guarenteed. i will be happy with a point though three would have us deliriously happy. Have we a Swansea thread? If not will open one for your importWillJack there is a thread in signing in thread.
Super Swans
We battered Wolves, and should have beaten QPR (DIRTY TEAM). You will see some of the best attacking football in the FL on Saturday. Every one of our players can play neat attractive football, a joy to watch. Ferrie Bodde should be in the Prem, wait & see.

Swansea's keeper is ruled out..
'Martinez in hunt for new keeper after de Vries injury blow
Oct 23 2008 By Chris Wathan
Roberto Martinez will look to bring a new keeper to the Liberty Stadium before Saturday’s Championship clash with Southampton.
But the Swansea City boss has insisted reserve stopper Artur Krysiak will be given the nod to start against the Saints at the weekend.
Martinez received the news he was dreading on Wednesday when it was confirmed regular number one Dorus de Vrieswould be out for up to two months after suffering a hairline fracture of the jaw and a depressed cheekbone fracture in a collision with QPR’s Martin Rowlands on Tuesday night.
The Dutchman underwent surgery on Wednesday but could be out until December – leaving Martinez with no option but to head into the loan market for extra cover.
But Martinez said: “Artur is first in line at the moment. I would not bring someone in who didn’t know the environment around him. He has been playing reserve football and working extremely hard and I am happy with him because that is why you have back-up goalkeepers.
“We do need someone to come in because you can’t go with just one keeper for six weeks and we will look to do something before Saturday to give us strength in that department.
“But I have no problem throwing Artur in, he’s a positive keeper who is very secure and has been waiting for his chance. I hope he takes it.
“He has been impressing in training and now it is his opportunity because once you are on the pitch you have to make sure you are ready.”
De Vries has not missed a league game for the Swans since arriving on a free from SPL side Dunfermline last summer and now Martinez is hoping the 27-year-old is back sooner than doctors are currently predicting.
Martinez added: “He had his operation and went home afterwards and I am happy with that because now the recovery starts.
“That should take between six and seven weeks but knowing Dorus he should be back before then because he is such a strong character and he will not want to miss out.”
Martinez is still without winger Andrea Orlandi with a thigh problem but otherwise has a full strength squad to work with as he looks to extend his unbeaten home record against Southampton'

You can bet he'll play a blinder against us. Shouldn't make much difference.
Re: Can Saints be first team to get 3 points at Swansea??
Who is going to replace Ollie? Have to be able to keep the shape like Tuesday night.
Re: Can Saints be first team to get 3 points at Swansea??
Have a feeling Schneiderlin may be put into defence...hope not.
Re: Can Saints be first team to get 3 points at Swansea??
We may have to bring James back and move Cork inside. Don't know if we have a reserve to move up to first team yet. Wotton also a definite nono.
