Lee Barnard has been charged with ABH following a nightclub fracas in October last year. He and two others have been bailed and will appear before magistrates on 2nd February.

I hope he does a Steven Gerrard and pleads self defence, Gerrard was subsequently found not guilty of a similar charge a while back.

Hope he has learnt his lesson about going out drinking in clubs/pubs, not what you expect from top professional athletes but then again that doesnt apply to many footballers!

Wonder if he gets on the bench tomorow next week.
