Teams set to be unchanged for tommorow
I'm predicting a 2-2 draw. Saga and James with the goals.

A very positive first half performance from Saints, Ipswich haven't turned up. However in the last 5 minutes Ipswich started to press

Hope they can keep it up in the second half. And that Solent can keep the commentary together - the commentary kept vanishing and stupid jingles and programme trailers on in it's place.

Nope, commentary's gone again with an annoying bloke and an even more annoying woman in a programme trailer again. FFS...

I think we're still in the bottom 3 because Forest won. That's incredibly annoying.

yep very annoying and norwich are also winning to keep in touch with us. blackpool lost so are just 1 point ahead of us
i really don't value other teams results at all though, i think the best thing to do would be to ignore the league table and just keep winning every game because the teams above us will not keep winning forever, especially as you consider that we are playing a few of them over the next month or so

Re: Saints v Ipswich
I am far more optimistic now, naturally(!), than I was even a couple of weeks ago. Three wins on the trot gives us far more hope. If the players can keep this sort of performance going then we WILL stay up.
I was one of those disappointed when Wotte was given the job, instead of someone of the likes of Billy Davies, when Portaloo jumped/was pushed but I think he has done well so far. If Wotte keeps us up and keeps the confidence and self-belief going as well as, most importantly, the good results then I'd be happy to see him stay at SMS next season.

LOL!!!
like PU , i too was certain 2 weeks ago that we were down, and i was gutted (to say the least) when Wotte was appointed, but you can't argue with the results (and also the performances) that the lads have put in under his management..
i am VERY optimistic at the moment that we will get out of the relegation zone before the end of the season (i've got everything crossed!!)..
bloody fantastic result last night lads.......just goes to show how much of a difference Saga and Euell have made to the team................if only they'd been available all season, we could've been pushing for promotion!!...

Re: Saints v Ipswich
The stats from Tuesday's match make good reading..
IPSWICH -------SAINTS
14 Goal Attempts 19
7 On Target 13
7 Crosses 6
7 Corners 6
7 Fouls 14
0 Yellow Cards 2
0 Red Cards 0
47 % 53
19 goal attempts with 13 on target in away game seems pretty good to me.

Re: Saints v Ipswich
we're gonna have to be careful with the yellow cards tho.......can't afford to lose players thru suspensions at this point .....
