Bust-up in the changing rooms!!!!
i have it on VERY GOOD AUTHORITY that mssrs Lowe and Portaloo had a full on argument in the changing rooms after yesterday's game,in front of the players!!!
apparently Lowe came down to speak to the players and said something ( what) that Jan didn't like, and he just flew at him!!!....(fair play to the bloke!!)
Jan then told Rupes that they should continue this away from the players, and so proceeded to go upstairs and carried on the 'dialogue' there....
let's hope that Jan has had all he can take of Lowe's interference in team matters..(not that that will stop him, we all know what a arrogant tosser he is!!!)
there was also a punch up in the Mick Channon suite after the game too (between 2 sets of Saints fans!).......i really think Lowe is about to feel the full force of the fans',players and staffs' wrath....it has been bubbling under the surface for a while now, and i think one more home defeat will bring it to a head!!

Re: Bust-up in the changing rooms!!!!
I am not surprised after what we saw yesterday and the bad vibes being generated by ST holders and stewards at supporters who have been absent.
Re: Bust-up in the changing rooms!!!!
Question is how does it affect you both in your job and how you feel about the club we love. Is it really so bad that we are starting to tear ourselves apart?

You are Mrs it's me needs to change mine if this continues. Maybe the people to blame will see just how bad it has become.

lmao!!!
with reference to my job, obviously if Saints go down then crowd numbers will drop even further, thus the possibilty of a stand being closed off altogether becomes a scary reality.....and there-in lies a threat to my job!
when Saints lose, stewarding is always a lot tougher....supporters are ,quite rightly, pissed off and so are less likely to give a monkey's about ground regulations and other supporters' safety.some become extremely abusive to other fans and stewards (as i found out a couple of seasons ago at 'THAT' Leeds Utd match...)
when Saints win then all is well with the world, but my job is made quite unpleasant by certain members of the fanbase when things are not going our way....still,shit happens,eh......
i can completely understand the fans' frustrations, the majority of us gave Lowe a chance with this experiment, we gave him the benefit of the doubt, but it is becoming soooo obvious that we are coming off the rails, both on and off the pitch. If the man has any sense at all he will back Jan and bring in a strong centreback and forward, regardless of whether we can afford it or not......coz i really don't see how he can afford NOT TO!!.....

Re: Bust-up in the changing rooms!!!!
Usually the stewards are polite when asking supporters to sit. Being a dad with young children I can appreciate the need for the safety. It is also a heck of a lot easier to see when people in front are sat. The problem yesterday was with a stocky male who was under the impression that he was a bouncer. He tried pushing his weight about and when that failed he became quite vociferous. Shouting non stop at people and even moving in threateningly warning some fans he would remove them. This simply antagonised them and surrounding supporters. What with the abuse being chanted by regulars who obviously weren't thinking of cheering on our struggling team the tension was rife.
We were in Northam block43 lower end and to be fair it was not where we usually sit. Luckily after the bruiser called for back up it became a little calmer. The man was completely ott and could and should have used his position with more thought and consideration to the young amongst us. There were a lot of kids going to their first game yesterday and acts like his will not enable dads or mums wanting to return with their young.
I agree that a winning team will help and unfortunately that is not something we have at the moment. Under the circumstances it would be nice to see the odd smile and not the look of anger and frustration that was so clear to see. A bad day at the office which a few will be hoping will not be repeated.

Re: Bust-up in the changing rooms!!!!
No but if I go again I will take my camera. I like a lot of fans appreciate the job stewards do in the main. To be fair it is the first time I had seen that sort of stewarding by stewards at home. I have seen it away but never at home against our own support. His face I will recognise and I hope he will act with more restraint.

Re: Bust-up in the changing rooms!!!!
The man at the top must be living in cloud cuckoo land if he can't see how bad it has become. The ones I feel sorriest for are the genuine supporters who actually work within our club. We won't need to face Pompey for it to go. Looks like we will be able to have our own war all by ourselves.
I am scared that we are in the death throes. What comes out after that is the problem. Will we find someone to resurect us and help us back on our fee? I am certain of one thing though and that is the fact that the support is there if garnered with openness and honesty.
I AM A SAINT TILL I DIE.

Just let it be for the good of the club. Don't let it get out of hand. And don't pick on the workforce.
