NOTTINGHAM FOREST Commentary
I will be at the game so will be unable to run the commentary. Is there anyone who would like to man the fort. Just the occasional post would do nicely. All of us at the game can give our reports as and when something happens or after the game.
Re: NOTTINGHAM FOREST Commentary
I see Gasmi and Lancashire are due to play for the Reserves tonight, don't know if that means they are less likely to play Saturday.

Re: NOTTINGHAM FOREST Commentary
I think McGoldrick should play a couple of games for the reserves, score a few goals get his confidence back. I wonder if the reason he has such poor movement is that he is actually scared of getting the ball in a good position and missing.

Re: NOTTINGHAM FOREST Commentary
That is a distinct possibility but getting him to play in a fashion that is foreign(pun intended) to him doesn't help. When are we going to see someone thread a ball through for him to run onto and smash goalwards.
That is what we want to see and I am sure good old fashioned attacking football can provide it. He has looked totally lost and out of touch and I fully expect even our nice image manager to lose patience eventually.

Re: NOTTINGHAM FOREST Commentary
At this time in 2 days will we be cheering our team home for a long overdue home win? With a very large gate I sincerely hope that the team is driven on to a resounding success.
Re: NOTTINGHAM FOREST Commentary
If we get a large gate as suggested on the forum that shall not be named then that is excellent news. With the high ticket prices in football proving too expensive for many, it's time that the clubs moved their prices down like this to get the fans back. The problem is they can't afford it because of all the greedy bastards demanding thousands a week from clubs, not to mention those at the top end of the premiership getting hundreds of thousands!
Anyway if anyone tries to recruit me to the OhWhenTheSaints forum then I will say hi.

Re: NOTTINGHAM FOREST Commentary
We'll be there so maybe our paths will cross.
Let's hope for both a big gate and big resounding win. Anything else is just not worth thinking about.

I will probably be out and about tomorrow - not the game sadly - so maybe not.
According to Radio Solent there should be a full house, or very nearly so. Is this because of a drop in prices? if so, that might give the club a bit of a clue as to low gates (apart from dismal results).

Saints playing well by the sounds of things, but there's not a lot of cutting edge.

Re: NOTTINGHAM FOREST Commentary
Dammit, 1-0 to Forest. This is not good, especially as we are completely and utterly toothless in attack.

Re: NOTTINGHAM FOREST Commentary
Half time. Decent play from Saints, from what I can make out from the Solent commentary, but absolutely no end product whatsover. 1-0 down after 45 minutes. Not good enough by a long way.

Dodgy sounding start to second half.
Forest looking sharper than Saints apparently.

Re: NOTTINGHAM FOREST Commentary
Defence sounding positively ropey.
Please, if we only get two players in the transfer window, can we have a big, mean striker who can actually score and a big, mean central defender?

Re: NOTTINGHAM FOREST Commentary
2-0 Forest. Davis off line, chipped.
Another write off of a home game. Saints are clueless and an absolute disastrous shambles.
It's no good, JP HAS to go, he hasn't got the first clue.
Awful, awful, awful, awful. Relegation beckons for sure, then the inevitable administration.
