The boy's obviously got talent, he can certainly pick out a player and score the odd goal. Since he's been out for a while (injury and the club trying to sell him), could he have some renewed hunger to prove to people what he's capable of? If so, he could be very useful for us, definitely up to January at least. If he was then to be sold for what he's worth, it would be good. If he stayed and continued with good form, even better!

Alternatively he could just sulk, bring the mood of the camp down and be a major disruption.

I'm glad to see him back in first team contention, especially as he'll offer a quality extra bit of competition/cover for Surman and Holmes on the left.

Could it be a blessing that he wasn't off in the transfer window?

I see Dyer is in the Reserves line-up as well...

If he tries being moody Jan will simply move him back to the stiffs or further. We seem to have a good set of vibes coming from our squad at the moment.

That's another thing I really like about Jan, he takes absolutely no shit from generally over-pampered so-called stars. Not doing your all for the team? Well it's straight out of first team training for you then.

I am a big fan of Rudi and am delighted he is still here. As bloop said, he will give us valuable options at LB, LM and even 'in the hole'. I think with the way we Jan has us playing Rudi will proove all his knockers wrong if he is given a run of games.

Hope he plays against Barnsley.

Rudi is without a doubt our most talented player. The only one who even comes close to him is Adam Lallana. I am astounded that he has not even made the bench yet this season.

HE NEEDS TO BE PUT INTO THE TEAM ASAP!!!!!!!

He needs to show that he both wants and is good enough to be in the team first.

Though I would hope to see his name at left back on Saturday
