It is nothing to do with money. Jamie White has proved himself in the reserves but it is a gigantic leap to step up into the CCC and expect to become effective immediately. This is all to do with player development and learning the craft and rough & tumble of professional league soccer as well as the skills. If it goes well we have a more experienced player ready to take his chance against David McGoldrick & Co, or he might turn out to be another dud Leon Best. Either way we find out without causing mayhem in the first team
