Re: Bristol City Commentary
Tbh, I don't think we will get anything from this game. It's all effort with no result.

Re: Bristol City Commentary
City attack shot comes in deflected of Cork for a corner. Saints attack Lallana pumps forward Pekhart jumps heads weakly goalwards.
Re: Bristol City Commentary
Saints again through McGoldrick makes wrong decision. Yet again comes to nothing.
Re: Bristol City Commentary
Nice passing but bugger all else.
All over. Back to the same old rubbish.

Re: Bristol City Commentary
Poor again at home and in front of the Sky cameras.
Never in the game and only Davis kept score respectable.

Re: Bristol City Commentary
I suppose that's what we get for daring to think that Saints had turned a corner last week. Depressing.

Re: Bristol City Commentary
We made a few nice moves but have to change system at home before it is to late.
Re: Bristol City Commentary
It's taken Portaloo months to realise that he has to make changes during games, so I can't imagine him changing the whole home system in a hurry. Dave Merrington was saying on Solent that Saints' system are set up to play away, not home and that's why the team are coming unstuck at home. God, it's so FRUSTRATING!!

Re: Bristol City Commentary
PU It's frustrating because it's so goldarn obvious. What I would like to know is why play Gobern on Tuesday if he was going to play him again today?
Re: Bristol City Commentary
We were crap unfortunately . Davis was good (and I'm not a big fan)...........the rest of em were next to useless.

It's obvious to you, me and every other Saints fan, yet not to the people it should be obvious to - the idiots who run this club.
As for Gobern, stupid, isn't it? Gobern had to play an extra midweek game and this has obviously affected his performance today as he was not the player who transformed the game last week.

Re: Bristol City Commentary
By all accounts he had a good game as well on Tuesday. As did Jamie White.

Thanks for that TS. Atmosphere sounded quite good at times when the crowd tried to get behind them.

Re: Bristol City Commentary
Thanks for that guys. Watching it last night on Sky, I didn't think it was all doom and gloom. Saints seemed to play some fairly good stuff but too often their goal efforts were from long range and they needed to find a way to crack BC's defence and get clear shots at goal.
Where was Schneiderlin? Didn't know he was injured....

Re: Bristol City Commentary
Well said Pagan. Only problem is that they have a squad full of big strong players. God I miss the Dell.Teams used to go there expecting a game not a walkover. Good thing is that the team still kept trying and don't seem to give up. Another point is Morgan. No news as to why he didn't play. Hope he isn't injured because he was sorely missed.
Re: Bristol City Commentary
According to the BBC the scorer of the goal hadn't found the net since August 2007. How come we're always the team who allow the opposition to end bad runs and other players to end scoring droughts? It's not new, we've always done it, but it is annoying.
