REVENGE ON BRISTOL CITY ON FRIDAY?
The embarrassing recent defeat at Ashton Gate must still be in Saints' heads so hopefully we will be well up for it on Friday and get a comfortable win? Maybe 3-0?? Ok, a win by one goal will do as long as we get the points!
Re: REVENGE ON BRISTOL CITY ON FRIDAY?
Following on from yesterdays game I expect saints to take 3 points. At some stage saints are due to give someone a good hammering at St Marys if we ever take the chances we create in a game. Not sure if will be on Friday but expect us to take the 3 points.

Fully expect us to win but we will see a hammering. Would be nice if we can give them one.

Re: REVENGE ON BRISTOL CITY ON FRIDAY?
Ok. Reasoned response time now.
That was MASSIVELY disappointing. Not just for getting zero points but for surrendering the unbeaten home record - a record which would otherwise have lasted for the whole of the calendar year - one game and 26.5 hours before the end of the bloody year!! It's stupid, I know, but that has pissed me off more than dropping points has. Losing the first home game of 2012 wouldn't have been as galling.
To those that went, were Saints as atrocious as it sounded on the radio?

Re: REVENGE ON BRISTOL CITY ON FRIDAY?
OK, don't panic Mr Mainwaring but...........West Ham and Middlesbrough now have it in their hands to make it 3 clubs together on 47 points at the turn of the year. Saints were favourites to go up but have lost their way in the last few weeks, just hope Nigel can turn it around again!
Re: REVENGE ON BRISTOL CITY ON FRIDAY?
did a match report last night and its missing!!!!!!!!!!!! bet I pressed wrong button as so p***** off. brief summary.
Lallana very poor missed some good chances with taking to many touches.
Ref crap and seemed to want the glory of referree when we lost record.
De Ridder main threat though final ball still hit or miss.
BC big, cynical off ball fouling but two pacy strikers that caused problems.
Current squad not strong enough, missing Chaplow big time as no one last night made any tackles and were bullied off the ball.
Need another striker desperately despite what Adkins may say in public, Guly to often deep, connolly looks a light weight with no pace.
Adkins needs to give the players the freedom to shoot on sight of goal, to many times we always wanted to pass the ball into the net, pitch was soaking wet, ball skidding and difficult to hold low shots (their goal) and we didnt shoot! Has to be a training ground issue as shooting is a natural thing to do!
Re "No need to panic" there isnt if dont want one of top 2 spots but afraid signs have been there for weeks with just one striker and Chaplow missing. For me shows the quality in the squad is not good enough as we should be able to cope with that.
Better see some more fighting spirit on monday at Brighton and while NA may offer Adam an arm aorund his shoulder I would give him a kick up his jacksy. Time to stand up and be counted and that means fighting for the team on the pitch when against tough, but not very good, opposition

Thanks Matty, once again Saints appear to have dodged a bullet with the West Ham and Borough results.
PS Happy New Year to everyone on the site.
