SAINTS NEED TO GET A HEAD

Watching the draw at Brighton on Sky, I was surprised when, after the Davis goal, the commentator said it was the first headed goal by Saints for almost 2 years. Surely this is a problem that should be addressed?

Long gone are the days of Ron Davies (and Rickie Lambert) who seemed to be scoring with their heads every week!

Well we have certainly missed Rickie's aerial power. Last week VVD was close, some very good defending from Brighton centre half's just taking off his head and sure he will score shortly. Cannot see any of our forwards scoring with a header, mostly to small, plus have to be in the penalty area to score with headers ours are rarely there!

I agree Matty.....but I am a little surprised Charlie Austin doesn't head a few. I think he's well over 6ft.
