DO SAINTS WANT A CUP RUN?

The main priority is the League, and there is also the JPT, do you think we would benefit from a decent run in the FA Cup?

I must admit I am in 2 minds, a good run with wins against some decent teams would be good for the morale but our cover for injuries is not great and I am worried we may be left without players we need for League points!

What do you think?


Anyway, I have a funny feeling this thread could be a waste of time as Luton could spring a surprise tomorrow.

I hate losing, naturally, but quite frankly I think we could do without the FA Cup this year. While it would be annoying and embarrassing to lose to non-League opposition (although, to be fair, Luton are only non-League thanks to Haw Haw and his bunch of dicks at the FL) it would be no big deal.

similar wouldnt lose any sleep over the FA cup this year but would like a win this weekend then one of the top 4 premiership sides in 4th round and go out in a blaze of glory.

Actually quite fancy portsmouth in 4th round so we can put the final nail in the coffin knocking them out of the one event where they might get some cash!

Ipswich are next and they will be a tough nut to crack. I won't mind losing to them if we play well and show that we can match them forcing them to a replay. Though being selfish I wouldn't mind making our two Wembley visits three.

Yeah I know that that could never happen but semi finals now seem to be played there as well quite often.
