Re: WHAT OUR EX-SAINTS THINK.....
Hi Mike, thanks for the email.
Obviously we look in a great position after last night. Everything went for us and West Ham look laboured to me. Reading need to show the spirit that Saints have shown throughout the season. We've played under pressure throughout and now Reading are serious contenders they have to show the same bottle.
Lambert and Lallana have impressed me greatly. Lambert has ability and bottle in spades whilst Lallana looks a class act. He's done right through sticking with us and I've been a fan of him for some time.
Five wins should see us safe I reckon. The other two have to play each other and we still have the bottom three to play at home.

Re: WHAT OUR EX-SAINTS THINK.....
Win the four homes games plus take whatever we can from the away games and will be enough, glad to see the views from the legend!
West ham have some difficult games aside from Reading, think they play Brighton, Birmingham and Hull at home plus Burnley and leicester away. Reading have to come to us, WH, brighton, away to birmingham last game of season.
In our hands now which is the way you want it to be.

Saints for automatic Promotion
[In answer to the question of my feelings regarding the Saints prospects for automatic promotion all I can say is I booked my flight home a couple of months ago to make sure I'd be there for the Coventry game to join in the celebrations. Hows that for confidence in our team!!!!!

Hopefully Coventry game will be a day for some celebrations, us going up and Coventry staying up despite losing to us with pompey going down!

Re: WHAT OUR EX-SAINTS THINK.....
Hello Michael and all,
Sorry I haven't been in touch. What an exciting end to the season.
Its been a great season for the lads leading the way for most of the time,we did have a little wobble but it looks as if we are back on
track now and it feels like its going to be our turn for automatic promotion. The game with Reading will count in terms of the final
positioning and West Ham will be waiting in the wings having scored a few goals recently hoping for a slip up to save going into the play offs.
No doubt your own personal workload has gone through the roof with all the added interest a promotion season brings with it, good to have something to get your teeth in to I fancy.
Best Wishes
Gerry
