To be fair I think that says more about the quality at the moment of the England squad, only Bertrand is really England material,

And I'd say Forster was England quality for much of last season.......but certainly not at the moment

And only Bertrand makes the England squad this time round.

I hope this has the effect of making FF pull his finger out......and does not have the effect of making him lose his confidence completely.

You would hope would be the wake up call needed to look to improve, and to be honest think Bertrand is lucky to be picked based on his performances this season. Would like to see him play and see if he is "up for it" unlike his recent club perofmances.

I imagine Bertrand has been chosen because of his recent England displays rather than this season's showings for Saints
