Re: CHINA IN MY HAND??
be surprised if they get far, they will have pretty good lawyers and swiss bank accounts but typical govt nail individuals for as much as they can screw out of them.

Re: CHINA IN MY HAND??
still waiting, just mixed messages coming out but what is clear is Lander don't have the cash so they will borrow money to pay to Kat who will bank that and then they will have to make money out of the club, player sales and Sky money. Problem is will still leave us with the debt, even though they make money. Premier league are hopeless

Re: CHINA IN MY HAND??
Something clearly not right as it should never take this long, don't know if Katarina having second thoughts, not about selling as sure she wants to but Lander do seem to be lacking in money, everything being borrowed and maybe Chinese authorities have clamped down but if you borrow £200 m to but a company with assts that must be valued m more, players, land, TV money wouldn't have thought a great risk, other than for us!

Well now majority shareholder Mr Gao and his daughter Nelly. All a bit odd that Lander which they owned struggled to get the money but deal now gone through as individuals, doubt actually much difference to be honest. Will see what transpires

It would be nice to see funds quickly invested in the team but don't think much will be done in this window.....unless they let the sulky defender leave

Re: CHINA IN MY HAND??
All they need to do is sign Hoedt, keep VVD for this season he will get over it, and will allow Stephens time to learn play in the Cup games, rest Hoedt or VVD if necessary for some games, play VVD in midfield if we need a ball carrying player at times.
That would be just £20m to pay for Hoedt, knowing a decent income from VVD next summer, no point keeping him beyond unless we are in Europe, Based on what Ralph as said VVD is not going anywhere soon

well looks like it is effectively Lander, used a Hong Kong bank to get around Chinese laws so the so called "debt free" isn't really true and will be interesting to see how they finance the debt
