James Just-Wide Prowse
He's very good at holding his head in his hands - and so he should be, the amount of practice he gets.
Why has he got such a high profile, featuring prominently in Saints' shop windows? I really don't think he's vulnerable to poaching... yet.

One of the few Academy players left in the side now so I guess keen to push that image and is Eng U 21 Capt now. Probably a better choice then Vic at the moment.

Re: James Just-Wide Prowse
There does seem to be a swell of support for JWP on some of the twittersphere. The thing is I watched the first half against Norwich totally frustrated by him. So negative in his play generally. It seemed to me that Norwich saw he constantly back passed and when the opposition clocked that they tried to cut off his back pass option to Fonte. Bizarrely, this made him play forward passes and lo and behold, he suddenly became a threat.
Am anxious about Saints persevering with him against a good side. We'll maybe get killed.

Re: James Just-Wide Prowse
I think we probably expected more from JWP earlier, probably doesn't help his confidence that not seen as first choice and plays different roles. With Steven Davis beginning to me to look as if his best days may be past him now he would seem the natural replacement but I do wish he learnt how to tackle.
he should also practice his set pieces as he is always "just missing" so if he just adjusts slightly he might get a few more goals, which we definitely need from our midfeld
