James McArthur’s agent has said that there are several clubs ready to launch a bid to sign the Hamilton midfielder and he expects Birmingham City to be one of them. The highly-rated Accies star is expected to leave New Douglas Park this summer and a bidding war could start for his signature.

Wigan Athletic, Rangers, Cardiff City and Leeds United have been linked with moves for the 22-year old and Southampton have already had a bid rejected. Wigan were thought to be front-runners to land the player but McArthur’s agent, Willie McKay says Alex McLeish may make Hamilton an offer."

Not sure if we have made a bid, West Brom tried to sign last transfer window on loan but bid rejected. looks like premiership clubs are interested so will make difficult to sign
