DOES LOVREN WANT TO COME BACK?..........AND WOULD SAINTS TAKE HIM??

Yeah Mike, I just read this before logging on here. This guy is a tosser. Some are now suggesting that he could come back to saints. Any thoughts Matty ?

Personally I say an unreserved NO.

well problem is we now need a CB with toby gone and Gardos injured.

Certainly him playing alongside Fonte should help him improve and part of his poor performance was Rodgers and Liverpool's formation. IF he was willing to give up his salary at Liverpool and we could get for 6 -8m which is probably what he is worth then might not be a bad deal, but the way he left along side lallana left a bad taste with saints fans and he would have to win them over, a few mistakes and he would be crucified. Personally would prefer Van Dijk and despite what Lovren says I cannot see him giving up his salary so probably loan deals the best he will get.

Sign Van dijk and with Yoshida, Jose and Turnbull/Stephens we would be fine

That appears to be what is happening, with the wild card being Chester from Hull.

The worry is that other clubs, Everton in particular, also want Van Djik.


I'm sure we won't be taking back either Lovren or Chambers.....but if it had to be one or the other which would you go for?

Chambers as a CH, will never be a top quality RB
