Just depends how many more we lose with Lovren and Schneiderlin seemingly wanting to leave but perhaps Koeman can convince them to stay, at least for now which would give some stability for the new season. Cortese had it right by bringing 3 quality players every season so do not disrupt team to much while gradually improving.

Sorry I wouldn't say we have been decisive , the complete opposite think we dither around while other clubs are actually signing players

we needed 3 - 4 players at the end of the season, 3 top players gone says we now need 6 -7 and that is without losing any more.

Why does the media seem intent on finding things about Saints to pick holes in?? It was great today to hear Skysports praising Tadic.......but now they are giving more time to an interview with James Beattie in which he says things are not right behind the scenes at St Marys!!

I am really angry about how Sky have handled this and I have tweeted MLT about it in case he has some influence. He has replied to me saying he had not seen it and asking me about it....I have given him the details and hope to hear back.

Not the smartest thing Beatties had done but then that adds to quite a list, sure he would appreciate an ex Accie players starting to cryptic clues about problems at his club.

the clique of Reed/Hunter may be the issue and do wonder about all the vacancies being posted on club site from HR to photographer, to marketing to ticker office, does seem odd that would be so many vacancies unless they only deal in fixed term contracts and a load came up for renewal, have to say salaries don't look that great for what I would have expected, cleansing the excesses of Cortese regime?

I always though Katarina was genuinely looking to keep the club and build on solid foundations but afraid the actions of her and the board suggest that was naive. I said a couple of months ago there was a scenario of cashing in on players and taking cash out of the club and selling at a lower price. as Villa have discovered not many buyers for a premiership club if looking at £120m figure, but if you sell for 70 - 80 m but bank a net figure of around £40m from transfer activities.

When Koeman was appointed didn't think that was the case but believe he has been stitched up and if they had brought in a more junior manager would have been clear and would not have got so much money. The Chambers sale is the real clincher for me, young player of Shaw's ability under contract whole career ahead so a club with ambition would simply not have sold for what I think is a derisory amount. The actions are that of a Board looking for money to simply take out of the club.
