ARE SAINTS DONE?? Empty ARE SAINTS DONE??

Another couple of weeks till the end of the transfer window, and Lovren, Wanyama and Osvaldo signed for a massive amount of money.   Not wishing to appear greedy but just wondering whether that satisfies Cortese and Tino or whether they are still trying to line up another big signing or two.

We have often heard that big-name players have been refusing to consider a move to Saints, claiming that they want a move to a bigger or more ambitious club......but it seems to me that by making our recent signings, and by Lambert being an England international, our profile must be rising and it should be getting easier to interest big-name stars.

Do you think this means more will follow this month and, if so, who could we yet see join us??

Personally I think that will be the end of signings or at least any major signings. Would not be surprised if possibly a cheaper younger signing of someone with potential but think they have covered the main areas and with the likes of Chambers and Isgrove improving quite rapidly arguably we have a pretty good squad now.

Think Poch may have had some time off today as suspect he was probably involved yesterday in finalising and meeting Osvaldo

Tino at pre-Sunderland conference this morning....

"We're pretty pleased with the players we've brought in, but we're also keeping an eye on the market."

And....

"We've achieved what we wanted to achieve in the transfer window, improving our first eleven"

So, take your pick!!  Rolling Eyes

I think they have a couple of targets that they would go in for if the price was right but they don't think likely to happen so happy to stick with the squad

Lucky Sky reporter at St Marys, told at 6 all done for the day so of down the pub I expect!

Bit disappointed that we have not looked at options such as Ba or Lukaku one of which will be on the move, thought MP was supposed to be pals with Mourinho, maybe MP is learning his place at St Marys. Swansea look to have a good young addition in Vazquaz.

Also when was the last time we took a punt on a young player no one had heard of that came good, oh yeah Mayuka but guess that didn't turn out so well! oh and then there was Forren.

Just as well we produce good youngsters as not an impressive transfer record
