Seems a little strange this, hope it means the club has a couple of top central defenders on the way here.

Think a good deal as should give him some excellent experience which he need as didnt get enough games last season and would be a tough ask to learn his game in the premiership. Will undoubtedly mean Saints will bring in another experienced CH to put some pressure on Fonte and Hoovield, must have someone lined up having agreed this deal.

Didnt see this here before I posted on transfer topics. Can see why as he spent most of last season on the bench and he needs games, learning his trade in the premier league will not be a good idea. Palace not a bad team to loan him to, close so no house move and play decent football
