Very strong rumours on Twitter that Celtic defender Jos Hooiveld is in talks with Saints

If he's not very good in one of the shittest leagues in Europe, would he be any good in the NPC - which is probably a cut above the Scottish prem?

Hooiveld has signed on loan til January. It seems as if he's the *only* signing this window. Disappointing and pretty underwhelming tbh, but I wish him the best and hope he does well for us.

Very disappointing by saints and to me demonstrates that not NC willing to invest. If we get any injuries to adam, cork or Lambert we will struggle. Made worse bt fact £12m in for oxo.

Hear lots of talk about big bids, in for quality players but actually seen little action and loo at who we have signed since July 10, not many and not much money spent.

A Celtic fan, shirt and all, was a customer yesterday where I work in Peterhead. I asked him how he rated our new signing..........rather worryingly the customer said he had never heard of him!!!

Hasnt really played for them in last 6 months, Lennon the manager is a bit if a headcase so maybe they had a falling out and he will be okay (clutching at straws I think)
