BUY TO KEEP LALLANA?

Should Saints strengthen squad to keep Lallana? The way Adam is playing Saints will be lucky to keep him for the whole season. Best chance he will stay is for Saints to show they intend to do anything to get promotion so a small fortune spent today could be cash well spent. If we can be in a strong position for promotion by Xmas then Adam may want to stay. Spend and keep Adam?

Adam has only just signed a new long term contract, because he is well aware of the commitment of the club to return to top flight football. They have tried publicly to strengthen the squad but without success. Paying over the odds for players shows a lack of business acumen and panic, this is more likely to put Adam off.
My personal belief is a great centre back would be great to play alongside Fonte, but we may have to be patient and see Aaron martin or Dan Seabourne rise to the challenge.
Our results so far have shown that we do have the quality and squad to do very well at this level and even be contenders

I agree I dont see an acquisition necessary to keep Lallana, he is on baord as shown by his signing a 4.5 year contract. Do agree though that investing in some a high profile signing may well convince others that Saints are going places and to join us. All our bids/interest for the better players have been unsuccessful which is not good.
