Re: JACK CORK CLOSE TO SIGNING?
Hope we do sign Cork as he fits the type of players would like to see, young, talented and keen to improve. My worry is more Swansea than Burnley. Cork went from us on loan to Reading because of Rodgers who he knew from his youth days at Chelsea, they can offer premiership football and will have the funds.

I know he is with the U21's at the moment but everything has gone quiet on this now.
Re: JACK CORK CLOSE TO SIGNING?
suspect his agent is beavering away trying to get more offers for himplus if NA is on holiday, needs a break and will be back beginning of July so suspecy he had done all he can. In this case the player holds all the cards. Wanted by a few clubc so no need to rush into anything. Plus being on Chelseas books dont suppose being on his chelsea pay rate will be to much of a hardship!
Typical for Saints that this year premiership clubs instead of throwing their money at over rated over seas players are throwing their money at young British players who would normally look to championship sides.

Re: JACK CORK CLOSE TO SIGNING?
Amazing with West Ham, anywhere between 60 - 70 million in debt, they sign Nolan for £4m and now Cork probably for another £1m. Have always like west ham but under Gold and Sullivan will soon become the team all other fans hope lose.

Re: JACK CORK CLOSE TO SIGNING?
No longer getting close but a done deal. Excellent bit of business and will I think challenge Hammonds place in midfield. Schniederlin, Cork and Lallana as the thre main midfield players in my view will be well balanced and creative plus all early 20's.
Striker next and will be well placed for the new season
